Show Related Christmas Song Parody Contest and New TPAH!

Hello, Gorgeous!

I hope your holiday season is jolly and fun and magical and whatnot. Fa la la la la blah blah blah blah.

Have you checked out the return of TPAH? I sure hope so. The first episode recorded at Wildfire was on December 5th. It was REALLY good. I was so excited to hear their sweet voices again. If you tried to listen live and couldn't, you're not alone. There seems to be some sort of issue with certain phones or browsers or something. I couldn't get it on my phone, laptop, or desktop. I use Chrome for all three, so maybe that's the issue. Who knows? Tonight I'm going to try on the Firestick. Even if I have to wait to hear it later, it'll be ok. We know how those guys do. Tonight is going to be awesome. Dr. Frielgood is coming back. Try to tune in live at 6:30pm EAST here...https://wildfirepodcasts.com/
If we don't get it live, it will be here shortly after ..... https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-passive-aggressive-hour.

Ok, that's new business handled. Let's get into a classic TPAH. Here's a super, duper classic from 2015. This one has the greatest show related Christmas song parody contest of all time! Our true love, Steve Miller Miller is in the studio and delivers his contest entry live. It's awesome, of course. Before that, Greg Lynn is on the phone and we hear the song that he wrote and recorded. Oh. My. God., it's SOOOO good. I don't know why the TPAH cast doesn't make videos for the incredible songs that happened on the show. There's so much good stuff. Someone should tell them that it would be a good and fun idea to put some stuff on youtube. Gee whiz.

Get into this ridiculously good TPAH and don't forget to check out the current episodes at their new home, Wildfire.

Merry Christmas!

Happy Halloween!

Hello, Loves! Happy Halloween!

I can't believe our Ten Day Moosedumps Fiesta Bonanza is coming to an end. Let's spend a couple of hours getting in to the remaining Dumps from last year.

Just between us, can I just say that I'm really annoyed that there's no new Moosedumps this year? I'm beyond annoyed. I'd say I'm downright hocked off. The TPAH cast really needs to get their collective shit together and give us back our show. I want Moosedumps! I demand the Goddamn Tweets! I crave and long for Steve's Sioux Falls stuff and hit songs! I am down a full quart on WID! I have a ravenous appetite for goofy phone calls from Brad! I could even tolerate Greg right now. This No TPAH world we're living in is nonsense. My inside sources have let me know that there is progress and we're steadily moving forward to the triumphant return of our favorite show. It could move faster! Get it together, TPAH! Gee whiz.

Ok, back to Moosedumps!
Enjoy the remainder of last year's October fun!
Have a great day! Enjoy your tricks and treats!

Mischief Night Moosedumps

Happy Mischief Night, Darling!

Are your TP and eggs ready? I SOOO want to go out and soap something or throw toilet paper all over something. I'm just in a mood! But, the last thing I need is to get arrested because my old ass couldn't flee the scene fast enough to get away with anything. Plus, everyone's got those stupid doorbell cameras now. Where's the fun in that? Oh well. I'm perfectly happy to stay home and listen to this classic TPAH featuring Moosedumps!

I hope you don't get vandalized or scandalized while you check out episode 183, Meatball Supreme Court from October 4, 2018.

Boinking Behar! ACK!

Hello Darling!

Can you believe it's almost Halloween already? Gee whiz. I never want the spooky season to end. Before we even have time to recover it's going to be stupid Xmas and we'll have to pretend to be all holly jolly and whatnot. Ugh.

Today's Moosedumps is actually one that we've covered before in Stranger Radio. Who cares, though? It's a FANTASTIC show and one of my very favorites.

Let's relive episode 140, Boinking Behar from October 26, 2017.

I hope you're having a fantastic weekend so far!

We've got a real treat of a Moosedumps to relive today. Then, a bonus! That dreamy lovebug, Steve Rees shared a tale of horror that he wrote when he was a young gentleman. Midnight Martinez reads it for us and it's a true psychological thriller.

MOOSEDUMPS! Day Two. OooogaBoooga!

Helloooooooooo Darlings!! It's getting spooky in here! My Halloween spirit has returned full force. It's a perfect dreary, rainy, chilly day. My decorations are finally going up and we're binge watching Ghost Adventures. All is right with the world.

I'm about to take a break and get in to the next Moosedumps TPAH episode. This one is great. Steve's favorite ex, Produce Tara makes her first appearance and it's adorable. He's so stinkin cute.

Let's all enjoy episode 49 from October 15, 2015, Produce Tara.

More Moosedumps!

Hi again!

I hope episode 47 made your Monday morning fun and fulfilling. We were just going to do one Moosedumps show per day, but OM Freaking G, you guys! The very next episode is so incredible.

Hold on to your hat, Love! This one has it ALL! It's Reesy, Kensily, Dr. Frielgoody, but then NICK!, MOOSEDUMPS!, and WID!! It's perfect TPAH!

What else can we do but listen to it right the fuck now?

PS: The song that Steve plays at the end is a real thing. I looked it up because I thought it was too silly to be real. Totes real. Weird.

Moosedumps!

Hello Gorgeous!

Are you in Halloween mode? No? Me neither. It's only ten piggin days away! I've been having a hard time finding my holiday spirit and usual enthusiasm for this special time of year. Normally by this time my place would be decorated and there'd be scary movies and The Great Pumpkin going 24/7. Something's really missing this year. I figured it out this morning! MOOSEDUMPS! I miss TPAH and I miss Moosedumps!

If you don't know what I'm talking about, we're probably not ever going to be friends, but I'll tell you what it is. Each week in October, the great Midnight Martinez would share a scary story that he wrote when he was just a wee pre-teen. Dusk Martinez, maybe. This was my very favorite part of TPAH in October. It's so fun.

Let's spend the next ten days just listening to Moosedumps episodes of TPAH. I'm going to be just randomly picking and listening to them and I'll link ya so you can too.

I'm starting with this one: Episode 47, Airfare to Austin from October 1, 2015. I just put it on and so far I'm super into it. It's been a very long time since I've heard it. They just played the TPAH National Anthem that was written and performed by the scrumptious Steve Miller-Miller.

Aahhhhhhhhh, I feel better already.

Enjoy your Monday.

Happy Birthday John Kensil!

Hello Darlings!

We're back!! I don't know what's going on over here, but everything's OK again. All the links are linking. YAY!

Let's have a special comeback post to celebrate our beloved John Kensil's birthday!

I love this picture of John. It reminds me of the first time I saw him. Picture it, Lansdale, Kensilvania, 2007. It was April 28th and I was super stoked to go see a comedy show and meet Danny Ozark (I was a fan of the Kidd Chris Show and Ozark was on there constantly at this point). Good times.I met a friend at the venue who knew everyone that was performing. He let me know that it was a TDTF show. At the time, I didn't know what the hell a TDTF show was. But my friend explained, "The TDTF guys that are here are Mike Rainey, Danny Ozark, and Pat Kelly". He pointed them out as he went. Then he said, "That's John Kensil over there". I totally thought John was the boss of everyone else. He looked like an adult, professional person. After I found out he wasn't in charge, I just thought it was nice of him to spend time with the rest of them. I still think that.

Let's celebrate his birthday with an incredible, classic EricToddCast. This is one of the greatest episodes of any podcast ever.

You don't need me to break this episode down for you. It's great. Just listen to it and thank the universe that we have John.

Rage Against The Muffchine

Hello Darlings!

Excitement Corner is closed for now. None of the links to any of the shows we've talked about here work. We can't link to any others. It sucks. Perhaps we will be able to get them from somewhere else, but that's going to take a while.

I'll be back as soon as there's an update about the new TPAH and we'll cover all that delicious action when it starts!

Thanks for hanging in there. Have a great day, Gorgeous!

Ancient Alien Goddesses

May 21, 2015 Episode 33
Cast: Steve Rees, John Kensil, Dr. Frielgood, Midnight Martinez, Nick Vollmer
Guest: Josh Jakubiw and Steve Miller-Miller

Hello Darlings! I've missed my little blog SO much. It's exciting to be back. Thank you for coming back with me.

Did you catch the last TPAH on Laffcast? Did you hear the major announcement? If you didn't, make sure you check it out. I'll spill the beans on the big news. TPAH lives on! It's no longer The Passive Aggressive Hour, it's going to be....get ready......Tom Petty Appreciation Hour! TPAH!! Hooray!! It's going to be fun and I can't wait. My sources tell me it's going to be heavy on the Tom Petty talk, but will also retain some of our favorite parts of The Passive Aggressive Hour. Fingers crossed, Loves, it should be debuting soon. Stay tuned.

Before we get into this classic episode, I want to quickly explain why Excitement Corner has been gone for over a month. So many things going on, Darlings. The biggest thing was that I got a part time job for some extra money and to pay off some credit card bills. That was plan A, anyway. Now, I believe that there's no shame in any job and no work is beneath any person. That said, my part time job was McBullshit and I only lasted about 3 weeks. That's a full 2 weeks longer than anyone thought I would last. Judas Priest, it was horrendous. The actual work was fine, the hours were great, the pay sucked, but was what it was. The only problem was the shithead bosses. Horrendous, awful, wretched whores is what they were. So, as much as I believe no one is better than anyone else because of their job, there's also reasons why some people will never get out of paper hat culture and they never should. So, that along with some tooth stuff and just life in general kept Excitement Corner down for a minute. That probably won't ever happen again.

Let's get in to this TPAH from the past!

After the Goddamn Tweets, John shares hilarious stories of pranks he's pulled. So funny! Don't ever piss John off! Gee whiz. Ya know, I tried to prank John Kensil. Mind you, I've got zero skills and even less creativity in the field of prankery. But, I saw an opportunity and I went for it. A nearby diner that I go to a lot was sold and the new owner had to change the name. They put a suggestion box up by the register and gave people the chance to name the place. You had to put your name, phone number, and your suggestion for the diner's new name. The new owner is a big, mean looking, hairy, gold chain wearing, greasy ponytail having, Greek guy. I had a feeling he wouldn't take kindly to people screwing with him. So, I put two entries in the box from John Kensil. One was "Shitzo's Shitburgers" and the other was, "Krippendorf's". I put John's number on them and sat back with my fingers crossed hoping that Mr. Ponytail would get mad and call John to ban him from ever eating there and give him what for. Of course, it never happened. A few days later the suggestion box was gone, and John remained unyelled at. :( Oh well, I tried. It would have been good though. Just sayin.

Ok. Back to it. Jack Jakubiw is in the studio and there's more prank talk including the fine art of prank calling. Dr. Frielgood has a great story about the prank calls he used to make to the TV show, Unsolved Mysteries. I think prank calling is a boy thing. I don't remember thinking it was fun when I was a kid. I did dial 867-5309 quite a few times back in the day, but that's all I could do. Everything else made me feel too guilty. These boys were great at it and it's hilarious to hear now. Midnight Martinez does a live prank call to someone who goes by the name, "Goat" and out of nowhere we've got Steve Miller-Miller!

SMM wants to talk about Steve's erotic book, "Fifty Shades of Grace". Oh boy! We're treated to an excerpt reading! Um, so, "her welcoming ax wound". It gets hot after that. Good stuff.

The Most Relatable Comedian in the World called in and was great! This is one of my favorite calls ever.

Steve had some shit to say about Rebel Wilson. SHOCKING!!!! Oh how his tune has changed. He totes loves Rebs (I call her Rebs) now. Who doesn't? She's perfect.

There's some more breezy talk to wrap up the show. This was a great one.

Have a great Friday! Stay tuned for Stranger Radio coming back next week.

Enjoy episode 33!

Show description: Josh Jakubiw joins the guys to talk about prank calls. The guys prank call a grown man who goes by "Goat". Steve Miller-Miller stops by to read an excerpt from "Fifty Shades of Grace". The Most Relatable Comedian in the World calls in to broaden the show's appeal. It's all that matters on the only podcast that matters.

The last live show from Laffcast is tonight. :(

Hello, Darling. There's no Stranger Radio this week because I'm all kinds of "F everybody" today and can't even stand the idea of talking to a stranger. Strangers are gross.

Tonight is really it. It's really the last TPAH from Laffcast. That makes me sad.

I'm not going to share a classic episode with you today, as it's a day of mourning. Make sure you watch tonight over on The Passive Aggressive Hour Facebook page. They're having a 2 hour special to wrap up the Laffcast residency. I've heard who the guests are going to be and I'm here to tell you that it's going to be action packed. Join me in the chat and we can cry together.

Oskee Waaaaaaah Waaaaaaaah.

Burlap Sack Full of Cutlery

May14, 2015 Episode 32
Cast: Steve Rees. John Kensil, Dr. Frielgood, Midnight Martinez, Nick Vollmer
Guest: Chip Chantry

Hi there! I hope your Thursday is going great. If not, hold on to your hat, Darling! We've got a magnificent classic TPAH. Dude. Chip Chantry is on!!! YAY!!

This is one of those episodes that I'm going to say you have to just listen to. It starts off with John's dad, Mr. Kensil reading the Goddamn Tweets. Yes, it's as awesome as it sounds. Then, there's a whole conversation with Chip about comedy.  Incredible stuff going on.

Put this episode on right now and soak it all in.

Tomorrow night is the last The Passive Aggressive Hour. Don't panic though, Darling. There's new things on the horizon for TPAH. My people on the inside have let me know that there's going to be an announcement tomorrow night about the future of the show. We have to just wait. That's the hardest part. The waiting.

Enjoy this perfect talk show of an episode and catch the live show tomorrow night at 9-ish East on the Facebook page.

Ugly Romanian Goof

May 7, 2015 Episode 31
Cast: Steve Rees, Dr. Frielgood, Midnight Martinez, Nick Vollmer
Guests: Chris Curtis, Chris Morganti, Christian Alsis, and Bradley Beck

Hello, Darlings! Oh boy. I've been neglecting my little blog. There's so much life going on right now, it's crazy. My time is getting wrapped up in all kinds of good stuff, but Excitement Corner is paying for it. No more!! It's back to the top of the priority list.

Since this is the very last week for TPAH from Laffcast, it's important that we take another listen and relive all the fun. I can't wait to find out what's next for TPAH. The last couple of months leading up to the Laffcast closing have been an emotional roller coaster for all of us. I wish they'd stop dragging my heart around.

Let's get in to this incredible episode of The Passive Aggressive Hour. I've been informed that this is Steve's favorite show. I can see why. It's fantastic.

There's a ton going on!

They kicked things off with Dr. Frielgood filling in on the Goddamn Tweets. Amy Shumer was mentioned in a tweet and Steve gave her a big 'ole "mmmmmmm". Ugh and also Ick.

Chris Curtis completely KILLED on the door test! Oskee Wee Wee, Chris! That was awesome.

We get another update on Christian's balls. Oskee Wee Wee, Christian!

Brad got to see Baby Spice up close and personal while he was living in France. Steve's in love with her, so it makes for a good story to tell on TPAH.

There's tons more talk happening amongst the guests, but then Chris Morganti pulls out a screaming rubber chicken and all holy hell breaks loose!

You guys, the talk turns to Steve's erotic fan fiction novel about Nancy Grace, "50 Shades of Grace". Nick and Brad each read an excerpt. Oh.My.God. It's hot. He's got to finish that, make an audio book and then give it to me for Christmas. It's hot like lava.

I had to pause for a second to cool off. Back to business.

We find out that Chris Curtis says the Oskee Yell out loud when he listens to the show. Aww!! I love that. Me too, Mr. Curtis!

Guess what! Volodymyr has been Bradley Beck this whole time! Whaatt??? That's one of my favorite callers ever. Great work, Brad!!

This is one of the very best episodes. Easily in my top 5. There's some easy, breezy, yet hilarious talk to finish things off.

Midnight Martinez finally chimed in. If you've been following the show from both ends and you're caught up with the live shows, you know that he's been absent. I think it's because the move to Friday night conflicted with his weekly comedy show. I don't know that for sure, that's just my theory. Either way, I totally miss him. He always brings some fun.

I've got some picks for alternate show title:
"My fiance was murdered. I'll have the veal."
"Err on the side of Samoan."
"To quietly bone."

I hope your Tuesday is going good and is made better with a classic TPAH!

Enjoy episode 31!

Show description: It's a packed house, as the guys welcome comedy super-fan Chris Curtis, top stand up comedians Christian Alsis and Chris Morganti, and top comic storyteller Bradley Beck, and a screaming chicken. It's all that matters on the only podcast that matters.
