April 30, 2015 Episode 30
Cast: Steve Rees, John Kensil, Dr. Frielgood, Nick Vollmer
Hello Darlings! Happy Sunday morning! Happy Mother's Day! I hope you're enjoying your day. If you're a mom, I hope your stupid family is doing nice stuff for you.
We've got a hot one today. This TPAH blast from the past is freaking ridiculously silly. Stephen Hawking and Elliott Gould were great guests that started the show off with huge laughs. Oh that Elliott Gould!
John shared the hilarious observations his dad made about people he saw on the way to a doctor appointment. Mr. Kensil was awesome.
Next up is porn talk. Oh boy. How did people ever handle the scenario where you have to go to a store, pick out a XXX feature presentation, and then take it to a actual human being to pay for it? Can you imagine? How do you even look the person in the eye? I'm having an anxiety attack just thinking about it. Now my left eye is twitching. What if you didn't return it on time? Did they call you and leave a message on your answering machine that your porn is over due? Gee whiz.
The sexy talk continues with Steve's big announcement. He was working on his first novel that was supposed to be released that summer, "50 Shades of Grace". It was going to be erotic fan fiction about two of Steve's favorite celebrities. Nick Vollmer stepped in to read excerpts. Damn it! For personal reasons, I wish Steve just read them himself. It's hot stuff. You're going to have to towel off after you hear this. He should really get back to work and finish this. It's juicy! I think I'll throw on my Nancy Grace wig and see if I can inspire him to write some more when he gets home today. Sorry. I'm distracted now.
Ok. Back to the show. Luckily, Stephen Hawking chimed in next.
A caller has a steamy fan fiction excerpt to share and gave me a pick for alternate show title, "Famous People Fucking Stories".
In preparation for the show, Nick had gone in search of fan fiction that wasn't erotic. He found some Flintstones, 60 Minutes, and Inspector Gadget fan-written stories. Surely, those can't be sexy, right?
John has notes to share and brings us another pick for alternate show title, "Invaded By A Camel Mechanic In Her Rear End". And another, "Strap-on Pterodactyl".
I told you this was a silly one.
Enjoy episode 30!
Show description: This week, it's all about fan fiction. Elliott Gould airs his comedy grievances, Stephen Hawking guest hosts the show with his own Passive Aggressive Hour fan fiction. Steve makes a major announcement. Nick tries to prove that not all fan fiction is erotic. Michael Keaton. It's all that matters on the only podcast that matters.
Have a great Sunday!
